I n a time when millennials are often disregarded as lazy and narcissistic, DavidSiuredefines thepresumption of this unique generation. “I think millennials are by nature individualistic, yet I don’t think prejudice against millennials is necessary because everyone’s different,” he says. High Life meets Siu near his brand new car – which he has already patched with “caution” signs and fashion brand stickers – before we make our way to the studio of his own brand, Common Comma. It is here that his love for street fashion truly shines through. After finishing a degree in Media and Communications at the University of Washington in Seattle, Siu moved back to Macau in 2014 and started a career as a brand buyer for a number of international menswear brands.
