Taking a leap of faith, he left his job and began designing full-time. “I collaborated with my girlfriend. She basically started this whole thing and now I’m taking over,” Siu laughs. He quickly locates some sketches from between the many piles of threads, fabrics and color pens on his work desk to show off his winning design from a 2015 fashion design contest, a feat he hopes to achieve again in the near future.
