I want to show the people around me that my decision is right.” Siu’s self-involvement seems more a continuation of trend than any revolutionary break from previous generations – millennials have always loved to challenge convention. His launch fall collection is heavy, layered and dark with design aesthetics ranging from the stylistic elements of Japan to the street vibe of Macau. “I design unique garments that are transformable into another style,” he says while trying to fit one of the jackets he created. Likewise, Siu sees his own venture transforming into something far greater in the future. “No full stops for me, only comma after comma,” he adds. “My dream is to expand to a fashion boutique fused with a small café. It sounds impracticable right now but what can I say – it’s the innovation of a millennial.”
