Inspired by the glorious sunlight that embraced the Champagne region during the birth of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009, Yoshioka presents an artistic tribute to the champagne of living light. Interpreting the emblematic shield of themaison as acolorful forceemerging fromthedark glass of the bottle, the vibrant shield presents an iridescent, dimensional and holographic aesthetic. Thus, the sensory experience of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2009 from the nose to the palate is enhanced in all its light, colors and emotions. While the harvest year began with harsh weather patterns, the Champagne region ushered in idyllic conditions from 12 September. The harvested fruit was magnificently mature andflawlesslyhealthy, lending its profound voluptuousness to the 2009 vintage. On the nose, notes of guava and spicy green grapefruit zest combine with stone fruit, white peach and nectarine. As the wine opens up, the whole is complemented bywoody vanilla and warm, lightly toasted brioche. On the palate, the fruit is majestic – ripe, fleshy and profound. Beyond the richness is a strong impression of consistency that prevails. The wine’s power is remarkably restrained.Thevarious sensations–silky, salty, sappy, bitter and briny – converge and persist.
