What I tried to do was reflect that urbanization has given us lots of good things but also made us very similar. We losewhat makes us different everywhere. “So what I was trying to reflect on through the whole body of work is the impact that urbanization has on our society and how it changes thewaywe are.” Vhils is now focusing on a coming project to take place in Beijing on 30 June at CAFA Art Museum, one of the biggest Museums in China’s capital city. “It’s going to be something quite different from what we have here, but I want to keep it as a surprise so far,” Vhils says with a smile. His Macau exhibition runs until 5 November 2017 at Navy Yard No. 1 – ContemporaryArt Center.
