High Life
HIGH LIFE #10 Jul 2017 51 Anne tells High Life that her main goal, with any of her exhibitions, is to create an educational journey for the visitor – one in which the public will feel comfortable in the knowledge that they are learning as well as enjoying. “There is nothingworse thanwhen people feel as if they cannot understand what the curator is trying to tell them, as if they were not capable of reaching the information. Usually that is the organizer’s fault, not the visitor’s,” she says with a smile. Camilli has just arrived in Macau, her impeccable looks and proper pose betraying her jet lag. With long blonde hair, minimal make-up and smart-casual clothing, Anne is comfortable in her own skin, as successful women often are. She tells us how Macau was the natural choice for the event and howMGM Art Space became the perfect space solution. “Most Museums in Hong Kong were not available, so the Le French May association asked me whether I minded going to Macau. Why would I? I loved the idea,” she says. “Gold is wealth, but not only financial. It is intellectual wealth, it is nobility. There are so many qualities to the material that are hard to put into words.” The Art Space also happens to be the perfect place.
