HIGH LIFE #12 Sep 2017 79 知 名日本导演河濑直美受邀成为第二届澳门国际纪录片电 影节的“焦点导演”并于日前前往小城与一众电影人及 影迷分享种种心得。本次电影节精选上映了河濑导演的七部纪 录片及其首部剧情片《萌之朱雀》,后者令其在1997年一举 斩获康城影展的“金摄影机奖”,成为该奖项最年轻的得主。 那一年,她28岁。 之后河濑导演持续受到康城影展的青睐。除了作品《殡之 森》在2007年获得康城影展的“评审团大奖”之外,导演本 人更于2013年应邀担任第66届康城影展主竞赛评审团成员。 而今年五月,其最新剧情片《光》再度入围第70届康城影展的 主竞赛单元。 河濑于澳门短暂停留期间与《品》做了交流。她回忆道, 二十年前第一次拿到“金摄影机奖”时,她其实并未在意,后 来才逐渐意识到,彼时在康城的收获令自己之后的职业发展受 益匪浅。 她说,“对西方社会而言,亚洲是个特别之地。作为一个 成长自奈良乡间的女性导演,我在作品中所表达的是人类的共 通性。 I nvited to take part in the 2nd Macao International Documentary Film Festival as this year’s “Director in Focus”, renowned Japanese director Naomi Kawase showed seven of her documentaries as well as her first feature film “Suzaku”, which saw her become the youngest winner of the Caméra d’Or (Best New Director) at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival aged just 28. Naomi’s film “The Mourning Forest” went on to win the Grand Prix at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and she was later selected to be a member of the main competition jury for the 66th running of the prestigious event in 2013. This year, in May, her latest feature film, “Radiance”, was selected to compete for the Palme d’Or in the main competition section at the 70th Cannes Film Festival. Speaking with High Life while in Macau, Naomi recalled that she had no idea the significance of her achievement when she first won the Caméra d’Or 20 years ago, discovering only later how beneficial Cannes recognition could be.
