HIGH LIFE #13 Oct 2017 53 对 于想要从都市喧嚣中逃离片刻的食客而言,「8餐厅」 所提供的粤式美馔及优雅环境,可谓再合适不过。它位 于新葡京二楼,于十年前开业,因其精致点心及名贵新派广东 菜而声名远播。 这间米其林三星餐厅的奢华内饰由香港著名设计师陈幼坚 操刀,将中国传统元素「金鱼」和数字「8」融汇其中,寓意 活力与财富。餐厅正门与用餐区以一道长廊分隔,长廊左右为 缓缓流动的流水幕墙,透过光影投射技术,将地面变成清澈的 水池,活灵活现的金鱼伴随着宾客的步伐移动。在这仿如穿越 时光隧道的体验过后,宾客便步入了用餐区——昏暗,静谧, 仿若与外界脱离。 室内色调以红黑二色为主,对比鲜明,令人赏心悦目。餐 厅中央位置的立体水晶球,微妙地配合底部梅花线条的大理石 水池,使水晶球的倒影与实物相连,巧妙形成双互交叠的「8」 F or discerning diners looking for some relief from the hustle and bustle of Macau, The Eight is a unique venue where sophisticated Cantonese dishes are served in an elegant setting. Located on the second floor of Grand Lisboa, The Eight opened for business 10 years ago and is known for its exquisite dim sum creations and modern take on classic Chinese cuisine. A three Michelin-starred restaurant, its lavish interior is conceived by renowned Hong Kong designer Alan Chan, whose concept is based on the traditional Chinese elements of goldfish and the number “8,” representing energy andwealth. Upon entry to The Eight, two huge, black automatic doors – with a short corridor inbetween–separate thedining area fromthe entrance. The corridor’swalls are linedwithwater curtains, while the floor is transformed through a projector into a clear pool of water with goldfish swimming beneath the feet. Immediately after this sensory frenzy, guests are escorted straight into the dining area– dark, tranquil and completely detached from the outsideworld.
