High Life
品 96 #13 2017 年 10 月 “Creative works are there for us to express and it’s actually a complex process to express in the form of films. The process is more like a collective creation and I was creating this work together with our deputy director, cinematographer and whole art team. I appreciate that I was able to find these people and I really enjoyed the time working together with them.” As with most local artists though, following his passion is a tough way to make a living so Chan supports himself by also teaching and taking graphic design jobs. “Life is not easy,” he says emotionally. “Film making is not my income source but just a thing I would like very much to do. It is my career. “As to this film, I don’t expect it can be commercialized but I hope it will be able to reach out to a larger audience. “In the future, I hope I canmake a film that makes people remember Macau after watching it.”
