品 38 #15 2017 年 12 月 受到爱做蛋糕的妈妈的启发，这位 艺术家花了一个月时间制作这些花朵， 并用它们拼成了一朵美丽的莲花。这幅 艺术品现在就呈现在澳门文华东方酒店 装饰一新的大堂酒廊的后墙之上。 “这些小花朵代表着我们周围的 人，而这朵莲花，一如其本身的寓 意——无论四周环境有多么困难和不如 意，你仍要以优美的姿态，绽放出美 丽的花朵。这就是这幅作品背后的寓 意。” “It is titled ‘Blooms’ and there are about 10,000 flowers used including roses, chrysanthemum, apple flowers and clovers in different colors, which are all hand-piped – kind of like how you would pipe frosting onto a cake. Instead of butter cream, I used acrylic.” Inspired by her mother’s cake decorations, the artist took a month to finish the piece using those small flowers to create one beautiful lotus flower which now sits on the back wall of the Mandarin Oriental Macau’s new lounge café. “These flowers signify people all around us and lotus, like the flower itself, inspires,” she says. “No matter how difficult and dirty conditions are around, you will still end up blooming and the end result is still beautiful. That is the meaning behind my piece.”
