Saturated mahogany with bronze rim, the pungent nose offers palm dates, cinnamon, hazelnut and treacle. Supported by generous acidity, sweetness is balanced. The spicy palate delivers hawthorn, nutmeg, sweet ginger and orange marmalade. Full-bodied at 19%, the confectionaryentrycontinues throughalivelymid-palate, leading toamoreishfinish. Bestserved at 15 degreeswith cheese or petit four, even for saucemadère.
