40 品 当 我们如约来到郭瑞萍 Candy 的舞蹈练习室准备采访时，她 正专心致志为即将到来的演出《阴霾》 做练习。 《阴霾》是她和澳门独立电子音 乐人 Sonia Ka Ian Lao 共同新创作 的作品。这两位平时习惯独立工作的 创作人，走出自己的舒适区，各自都 在此次合作中尝试了新事物。譬如 Candy 会试着唱歌及做一些与声音有 关的尝试，而 Sonia 则会尝试做一些 肢体动作。对两人而言都是比较实验 性的尝试。 《阴霾》是一段揭示权力与背后 操纵的表演，听起来就是偏黑暗的创 作。当我向 Candy 指出这一点时， 她大笑，说自己的身体和条件就比较 W hen we arrive at Candy Kuok’s rehearsal studio, she is busy concentrating onher preparation for the upcoming dance performance in Haze . Haze is a new collaboration between Kuok and local electronic musician Sonia Ka Ian Lao which will bring the two performers, who usually work alone, together to create something that pushes them out of theircomfortzone. Candy, forexample, will try to sing and create soundswhile Sonia will attempt some dance moves. It is experimental for both of them. Haze is about power and manipulation in relationships, which sounds dark from the outset. In her creator’s note, Candy wrote implicitly that she had a long period of horrifying experiences buried in her heart but was able to release them last year by applying real movement to her dancing. Perhaps this creation is not only an emotional expression for her but also a door to freedom. After all, as the slogan of the performance states, “If we are afraid, we fall into a deeper darkness.” Candy is a local modern dance performer and choreographer and 区游学，接受不同类型的身体训练和 舞蹈技巧，并曾被澳门政府甄选并提 名为联合国教科文组织研究生奖学金 申请候选人之一。她的作品曾先后于 澳门艺术节、澳门城市艺穗节、国际 青年舞蹈节及牛房剧季中发表。 除了专注于个人创作，自2013年 开始，Candy 还在进行一个与城市相 关的项目，「OFF｜SITE ﹣在场环 境剧场创作及演出」。这是一个在地 创作的表演计划，舞蹈及表演皆纯粹 为了澳门旧城区某个特定的地点而创 作。 「OFF｜SITE」试图提供给观者 另外一个审视我们居住的这个城市的 角度，通过舞蹈与城市进行对话，对 抗对过往的遗忘和对城市当下某些部 分的忽视。 also the founding member of Soda- City Experimental Workshop Arts Association. Shewas primarily trained in ballet, but later became attracted and devoted to modern dance. Candy has travelled to many places around the world for her training, which she has incorporated into various disciplines and contemporary dance techniques. She has been recommended as one of the candidates for UNESCO’s Fellowship Programme by the Macau government and her works have been presented at the Macao Arts Festival, Macao Fringe Festival, Macao International Juvenile Dance Festival and Ox Warehouse Theatre Season, among others.
