This approach to styling was once eyebrow-raising but is now a worldwide phenomenon. The more contrast, the better. Resident designer for the brand, Nicolas Ghesquière, is a big fan of anachronism and challenged himself as to how he could incorporate pieces considered as costumes into an everyday wardrobe. The result is a dialogue of clothes transcending time. An utterly confident way of combining the unlikeliest of items is the key style element for this collection. Brocade frock coats were paired with silk running shorts or patent leather jeans.
