Branch-like LED fixtures by Zheng Yuan-yang’s Meta Design, torch-shaped ceiling lamps by Tony Yu, essential oils and air purifiers from {isagi}, stationery from Qiyu Design, mugs from The Shu’s Pottery and Taiwan red cypress essential oil from Fancalay are all carefully selected by the hotel to offer every guest an unforgettable and authentic Taiwanese experience. Among the elite local products available at the hotel, a collectionof tea extract-based personal products from Cha Tzu Tang is one that sensuously delights the senses. Ever since the founder, Zhao Zhi Ming, invented the first bottle of “tea seed dishwashing liquid” with his wife in mind, Cha Tzu Tang established itself as a father- son family company that has since expanded to become a well-known niche brand. As aresultof the countlesspositive reviews spread throughword of mouth garnered by Zhao’s dishwashing product, his sonZhaoWenHao decided to give up his electrical engineering background to dedicate himself to a field that was completely unfamiliar to him, thus giving Cha Tzu Tang its start in Taiwan’s organic industry. As his knowledge of tea seeds grew, ZhaoWen Hao began to gradually discover the plant’s miraculous utility and hoped to gain a further understanding of the tea seed’s history and cultural wonders.
