At this year’s Basel International Watch Fair, Hublot launched the Big Bang MP-11 3D carbon fiber all-blackwatch and sapphire crystal watch. The MP-11 watch is made of transparent sapphire and features a sleek, intricate movement inspired by the supercar cylinder shape. Under the transparent45mmdiametercase, the “engine style” structure and other mechanical components of the manual hand-wound skeleton movement can be viewed from all angles. Seven horizontal in-line tandem springs provide up to two weeks of power storage and can be used to keep track of the spring energy storage status through a linear power display. The winding step can be done by manually rotating the crown or using an electric Torx stylus inspired by car racing. The Big Bang MP-11 watch sapphire crystal model is limited to 200 pieces worldwide.
