HIGH LIFE #5 February 2017 105 Porsche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive Marketed as a “fun” hybrid to drive, the new environmentally-conscious Porsche was designed with the sports car lover in mind. Although it lacks that distinct Porsche roar when the engine kicks into gear, the Porche Panamera 4 E-Hybrid Executive is still a powerful and stylish ride. The new and improved Panamera can travel up to 50km on electricity alone, powered by a 14.1-kWh battery pack. Maximum speed without the gasoline engine kicking in is 140 km/h. The acceleration for the hybrid is also impressive with the car going from 0 to 100 in just 4.7 seconds with its impressive 330 horsepower motor. The interior feels more like a luxury sedan than a sports car with its leather seats and new Porsche Rear Seat Entertainment providing access to the radio, media, navigation system and vehicle functions of the car. It includes separate 10-inch touchscreen displays on the front seat backrests, with an array of connectivity options that will ensure lasting fun.
