HIGH LIFE #5 February 2017 37 M acau Tower was the venue for the latest exhibition of Takashi Murakami as the renowned Japanese postmodern artist brought Superflat to Macau for the first time. The artist, one of TIME magazine’s “The 100 Most Influential People” in 2008, is well known for his corporate branding projects with the likes of Louis Vuitton, VANS, shu uemura and Roppongi Hills, as well as collaborations with musicians such as Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Yuzu. In the art world, this Japanese creator has forever broken barriers and redefined what can be considered as art.
